COMMONWEALTH GAMES SQUASH DRAWS RELEASED
Ottawa (ON) – The squash draw for the 2014 Commonwealth Games Squash has officially been released. The event will start on Thursday July 24, 2014 concluding with the finals on Monday July 28, 2014 in Glasgow, Scotland. The opening ceremonies will take place Wednesday, July 23, 2013 at 8:30 pm UTC/ 3:30 pm EDT.

Samantha Cornett of Canada will face opponent Sarah Cardwell of Australia in the first round of action. Cornett, ranked #14 in the event, will be battling against 38 other athletes looking to find the podium in the Women’s Division. Her first match will take place on Thursday July 24, 2014 at 4:30 pm UTC / 11:30 am EDT.
In the Men’s Division Canada’s Shawn Delierre will face Papua New Guinea’s Moreaina Wei in the first round. Shawn and 66 other athletes will be competing in the event. His first match is scheduled for Thursday July 24, 2014 at 12:00 pm UTC/ 7:00 am EDT.
