Canadian Junior Talent on Display in Europe

Eighteen of Canada's top juniors are currently in Cologne, Germany after flying to Europe to compete in the Cologne Cup (formerly named Pioneer Junior Open) & Dutch Junior Open.  They began the trip with an acclimatization camp which to assist the players in adjusting to the new environment and time change.

Canadas top squash athletes will be led by National Junior Coach, Jonathan Hill.  This group of players have a promising chance at taking home a title or two as Jonathan says, “We have a very strong contingent this year, with a large number of the top Under 17 players from Canada competing.  We have three or this year’s National Champions with us, Nikhil Ismail, George Crowne and Michael Mehl.  We also have an exciting group of players in addition to the National Champions and are looking for a strong performance from our Canadian players.”
