Canada's Elite and a Veteran Aiming for a record-breaking title headline the Finals of the 2018 Canadian Team Championships

By Sunday afternoon, on the courts of the Windsor Squash & Fitness Club, two national team champions will be crowned. On the men's side, not only will Quebec be looking to claim back-to-back national titles, but it will be their veteran's, Shawn De Lierre's 9th appearance in the finals as part of Team Quebec. Better still, De Lierre will be going for his 9th national team title.

Standing in De Lierre and his teammates David Baillergeon and Jason De Lierre way is a strong, forceful Team Alberta led by 2016 Canadian Men's champion, Andrew Schnell.

Quebec entered the championship as the number one seed and reigning champions, while Alberta will make their finals appearance after missing it in 2017.

On the women's side, the top two seeds entering the championship will face off in the finals to battle it out for the 2018 title. Led by Canada's top-ranked Samantha Cornett, and 2016 & 2017 Canadian champion Hollie Naughton, Ontario is the favourites to take the Canadian title. Team Alberta will have something to say about Ontario's run. Led by Danielle Letourneau, Alberta makes their second finals appearance in as many years.

No matter the outcome, the finals in both the men's and women's will be filled with not-to-miss match ups and Canada's elite all vying for Canada's top honour..
