Windhoek (Namibia) – David Baillargeon has won the Special Plate Final at the World Junior Individual Championships in Windhoek, Namibia.
Baillargeon defeated Jami Aijanen of Finland in straight games 11-8, 11-6, 11-7. This win placed Baillargeon 33rd out of 114 competitors in the Junior Men's draw.
The Canadian Junior Men's team will start the Team Competition on Saturday. Canada is the 10th seed in the event, and will face England and France in Pool Play.
