2017 Canadian Junior Open Tracking for Sellout - Don’t Delay Register Today!

With only three weeks until the deadline, registration for the 2017 Canadian Junior Open (CJO) has reached over 230 and is officially on track to sellout. Word has been spreading about Canada’s premier international junior event, leading many to register early to ensure they don’t miss out!

From December 9-12, held at the fantastic White Oaks Resort in Niagara on the Lake, the 2017 CJO is filling up fast and the registration cap of 300 could be reached before the registration deadline.

In 2016 with a month left before the registration deadline, there were 134 players registered that eventually resulted in a final registration of 285 competitors. This increase in early registrations could see the registration cap of 300 being reached before the November 17 @ 11:59pm EST registration deadline*. The Boys U17 division for 2017 has reached its draw capacity (Squash Canada is officially taking a wait list for this division – for more information contact Programs Manager, Britany Gordon).

*If registration has not reached full capacity by the entry deadline, there will be a small Late Entry window that closes November 19 @ 11:59pm EST Absolutely NO entries beyond November 19th will be accepted!

Don’t be disappointed, register today!  Full event registration and the registration portal can be found here:  http://squash.ca/en/events/2017-canadian-junior-open

What’s the Big Deal about the Open?
Hosting for over ten years, the Club at White Oaks is one of the premier facilities for hosting squash events in the world. With the hotel adjoined, meal hall, social events, there’s always a real player and parent buzz.

Each year registration grows and the event is becoming more popular with international competitors. Last year 21 different countries from around the world were represented making up more than a third of the total participants that competed.
The event timing precedes the US Junior Open (Dec.17-20), attracting overseas players allowing them to fit two major junior events in one trip.  The CJO is a WSF World Junior Circuit event enabling U19 players to accumulate ranking points and is also a registered junior event with the PSA, enabling U19 players who are PSA members to accumulate PSA ranking points.
