Join us for this historic centennial anniversary celebration of Squash Canada at the SHOP.CA 2015 Canadian Squash Championships hosted at the National Squash Academy in Toronto, ON. Aside from 26 National Champions being crowned, the weekend will be a special celebration of the past 100 years of squash in Canada, culminating Saturday evening at the Centennial Ball where players past and present will be honored.

Open Rounds will be played Wednesday April 29th beginning at 12pm, all other categories will start Thursday April 30th at 9:00am. Finals will take place Saturday May 2nd from 4:00pm onwards

Only Canadian citizens, landed immigrants or persons residing continuously in Canada during the one year prior to the commencement of the Championships are eligible to enter the Men and Women's Open events.

All competitors must be members in good standing with their respective Provincial/Territorial Squash Association and Squash Canada, or the National Association of their residence.

Notwithstanding a competitor may be a member in good standing with their respective Provincial/Territorial Squash Association and Squash Canada, or the National Association of their residence, where a competitor is subject to a sanction imposed by the Host Club, Squash Canada shall respect that sanction, including any sanction which may preclude the person from entering the premises and thus participating in the Championships, provided the sanction was imposed using fair procedures.  Specifically, the sanctioned person must have been informed by the Host Cub of the nature of the infraction and have been given an opportunity to provide information concerning the incident prior to the sanction being imposed.

All competitors in Masters events must have reached the age of the category that they have entered by the first day of the Championships. These events are open to any one of any nationality.Only Canadian citizens, landed immigrants or persons residing continuously in Canada during the one year prior to the commencement of the Championships are eligible to enter the Men and Women's Open events.

All junior aged players must wear eyeguards.

The Centennial Ball will be a celebration of squash for both the 2015 Championships and the last 100 years of squash in Canada. Hall of Fame inductions include Jonathon Power, Graham Ryding, Mark Sachvie, Yvon Provencal and Penny Glover. Dress code is Canadiana Red and White theme.

9am - Masters Semi-Finals and Finals begin and continue througout the day

3pm - Women's Open Final

4pm - Men's Open Final

5pm - Cocktail Reception with live jazz band

7pm - Dinner

8pm - Awards, Presentations and Wall of Fame Inductions

9pm - Centennial Ball - dancing with live band

 

Ticket Information

Tickets for the Centennial Dinner are included in event registration

$75 plus HST for non-competitors

$1500 plus HST for a reserved table of 10 (eligible for a $750 tax receipt

A limited number of reserved seating tickets are available for the glass court.

$50 plus HST for a Week Pass - reserved backwall seating for Wednesday through Saturday

$95 plus HST for a Centennial Dinner ticket and reserved backwall seating for Saturday's Open Finals
