Frenchman Thierry Lincou triumphed in a 73-minute final of the fifth edition of the Bluenose Classic, beating England's Daryl Selby in four games in the climax of the $40,000 PSA World Tour squash event at St Mary's University Tower in Halifax, Nova Scotia, to win his first title in Canada. -

Canada's Shahier Razik eliminated in quarterfinals at Bluenose Classic
HALIFAX – Shahier Razik of Toronto lost to top-seed Peter Barker of England 11-9, 11-9, 11-3 in the quarterfinals on Friday at the $40,000 Bluenose Classic men's professional squash tournament. Razik was the last remaining Canadian in the tournament. -

Canadian Luck Runs Thin – 1st Round of Qualifying Complete for 2010 Bluenose Squash Classic
Ottawa's Robin Clarke was the only Canadian to make it to the second round of qualifying as the Bluenose Squash Classic opened play in Halifax, Nova Scotia. All matches followed the seeding via a draw which spread home hopes almost evenly across the eight match lineup.

2010 Bluenose Squash Classic Ready to Launch
With only two days to the start of qualifying there isn't much left to do at the Saint Mary's University courts here in Halifax but play some squash.
Some of the best male squash players on the planet will be taking their spots February 4th in the 16 man main draw that features 11 players from the top 40, Canadian wildcard entry David Phillips and the four to-be-determined qualifiers. -
