| ELIGIBILITY
National Open Events: must be a Canadian
citizen or have resided in Canada continually since April
29th 2007.
Age Group and A level Events: Must be a
member in good standing with your Provincial, or International
association. Open to non residents of Canada
RESIDENCY CLAUSE
Only Canadian citizens, landed immigrants, or athletes residing
continuously in Canada during the one year prior to the
commencement of the Championships are eligible to enter
the Men's and Women's Open events. (Motion 2.9.1; June 1994,
Revised January 1997).
AGE POLICY
All athletes in Master's events must
have reached the age of the category which they have entered
by April 30, 2008, the first day of the Championships.

SQUASH CANADA EYEGUARD POLICY
Eyeguards are mandatory for players under the age of 19
and strongly recommended for all other players.
“That only protective eyewear appearing on the Squash
Canada list of acceptable eye guards meeting the ASTM designation
F803 (Standard specification for Eye Protectors for use
by players of Racket Sports), shall be allowable at any
Squash Canada sanctioned event where the use of protective
eyewear is mandatory.”

SQUASH CANADA CLOTHING POLICY
"Competitors in National Championships shall wear appropriate
squash attire of any colour. Playing clothing for men shall
consist of short sleeve shirt, shorts, socks and playing
shoes. Playing clothing for women shall consist of a shirt
worn with a skirt or shorts, or a dress, socks and playing
shoes. Other garments, such as part or all of a tracksuit,
may be worn during play with the permission of the referee.
The wearing of headwear is permitted provided it is not
so conspicuous or brightly reflective as to distract or
unsight an opponent and shall not be potentially dangerous.
In all matters of judgement or opinion arising from the
interpretation of this clothing rule, the decision of the
Tournament Referee shall be final. "

MEMBERS IN GOOD STANDING
All competitors must be members in good standing of their
respective provincial, territorial, state, or national association.
Notwithstanding an athlete may be a member in good standing
of their respective provincial, territorial, state or national
association and Squash Canada, where an athlete is subject
to a sanction imposed by the Host Club, Squash Canada shall
respect that sanction, including any sanction which may
preclude the athlete from entering the premises and thus
participation in the Championships, provided the sanction
was imposed using fair procedures. Specifically, the sanctioned
athlete must have been informed by the Host Club of the
nature of the infraction and have been given an opportunity
to provide information concerning the incident prior to
the sanction being imposed.
REFUND POLICY
Prior to entry deadline – 75%; after deadline but
prior to draw preparation – 50%; after draw preparation
– no refund
